Click-through rate (CTR) is the percentage of users who click on a specific search result after seeing it in the SERP. CTR is influenced by ranking position, title tag, meta description, and SERP features. Google Search Console reports CTR for organic results.

Improving titles and descriptions can increase traffic even without ranking changes.
