Technical SEOInteraction to Next Paint (INP) measures page responsiveness by tracking the time from a user interaction (click, tap, keypress) to the next visual render. INP replaced First Input Delay (FID) as a Core Web Vital in March 2024. A good INP is 200 milliseconds or less.
Why it matters
INP provides a more comprehensive measure of interactivity than the FID metric it replaced.
